Interpreting signals.
Enabling possibilities.
We're building the foundation layer that makes brain-computer interfaces practical, scalable, and accessible.
Our Story
Why we're building this
The BCI field has a problem: brilliant teams are blocked not by ideas, but by infrastructure.
Training neural signal models requires expensive expert annotation, device-specific pipelines, and massive datasets that most organizations can't access. This isn't a compute problem—it's an infrastructure gap.
Hermeneia exists to close that gap. We're building the shared layer that lets any team—from research labs to medical device companies to consumer startups—build on a solid foundation instead of starting from scratch.
The name Hermeneia comes from the Greek word for interpretation. That's what we do: interpret the complex language of neural signals so your models can understand.
Values
What we believe
Rigor over speed
Neural data is sensitive and complex. We don't ship until it's right.
Openness where possible
We publish research, contribute to standards, and believe a rising tide lifts all boats.
Privacy as architecture
Data protection isn't a feature—it's a design principle from day one.
Practical over theoretical
We build for teams with real problems, not benchmarks and papers alone.
Team
Built by researchers and engineers.
Our team brings deep experience in machine learning, computational neuroscience, and medical device development. We're growing—and if you're passionate about neural interfaces, we'd love to hear from you.
